The project connects a public display with a smartphone of a passing pedestrian.
People are invited to draw their own flower with a provided web-app accessible via QR Code.
Furthermore, it is possible to interacte with the installation through body movement.

The aim of the project is to slow-down the passing people by enabling interaction and visualization of something interesting and beautiful on a public display instead of showing commercial content.

The project was realized in HTML5 with the support of the JavaScript 3D library three.js and Microsoft Kinect for the course “Public Displays – Und jetzt?” at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam under the direction of Monika Hoinkis.

Radio radiation can’t be seen by the human eye and besides the scientific visualisations, there isn’t any visual language for this invisible electro-magnetic field.
However, the aim of the project should be to collect as many different kinds of visualisations as possible and give radiation a dynamic, visual face.
The project was realized with three.js and the superformula for the course “radiation – new ways of visualization” under the direction of Prof. Danijela Djokic at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam.

The Fraunhofer Heinricht-Hertz Institute in Berlin is the leading Research Institute for Mobile and Fixed Communications Networks.
In close cooperation with scientists from the Department of Wireless Communications and Networks, numerous information visualization, posters and presentations were developed. Due to the fact that the scientists frequently create presentations and graphics on there own, an iconset in the department colors with the required objects were designed.

Every one of the ten fans stand for one second, so the visitor can generate an individual symphony by altering his blowing length or strength.
Instead of the air-based interface any data can be visualized by the wind machine.

The installation was exhibited at the year-end exhibition in July 2011 in Potsdam.
The work was part of the course “Physical Interaction Design” by Prof. Reto Wettach at the FHP. In collaboration with Riccardo Lardi.

For the exhibition “The Long Night of Sciences” (May 2011) in Berlin, two different glasses and a prototype of a hearing device were developed and exhibited in collaboration with Roland Heuger and Riccardo Lardi.

The 360° Powerdome at the Urania Planetarium Potsdam was modified into a hall of mirrors.
The clip shows an excerpt from the performance of the project »Messing with our minds«: A live visualization with a reflecting cell structure, performed in the fulldome environment.

Drifting transforms static letterforms into flowing elements.
The generative typography was developed for a live performance at an exhibition in Potsdam (July 2010) and the short movie “Visionizing” showes only an excerpt of the final results.

The abstract, experimental short film focuses on the development of basic visual concepts. Geometric shapes and symmetrical data were used for the animation, indicating the use of schemas and rules – terms that are not normally associated with the process of creativity.
Each form has a certain symbolism and significance and was implemented after a specified legend. The following steps are shown sequentially: 1. Get ot know 2. Adaptation 3. Addition 4. Synthesis 5. Creation 6. Production 7. Feedback.

The short film was shown on 23 May 2010 at the independent media festival Tübingen and on 29 May 2010 at the 6010 International Film & Video Festival.

Founded in 2011 the Berlin-based “Focus Reha” is a psychosomatic rehabilitation clinic for children and adolescents. The basic elements of a corporate design (including logo, fonts, colors, posters, etc.), various templates and the website www.focusreha.de  were designed.

.txtontour has emerged as an extension of the successful literature festival .txtfestival. Both cultural projects has been unified with a new corporate design. Two new logos, t-shirts, stickers, a green box and the website were developed. txtontour is a cultural project by the NPO Artoholics.

Artoholics is an international organization which organizes self-initiated artistic and cultural projects. Besides the creative services since June 2008 Sebastian is  also working as an arts manager for Artoholics. Business cards, stamps, stickers, templates and the website www.artoholics.info were developed.
Dezember 2008 – 2009

The five largest cities in the Dutch province of Brabant competed as candidates for the European Capital of Culture for 2018. The 64-page “Research Report for Strategic Development” is an inventory and roadmap for the city of Breda. An infographic was also developed in the form of feet which shows the various target-states. Wood is the daily tools and supplies for work of the master carpenter thus in addition to the corporate design, a business card holder from recycled wood was manufactured.
