Die Visualisierung ist ein Ansatz, die akustischen und semantischen Inhalte des Monologs (Timecode 42:56:00 – 43:40:00) von Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) im Film Fight Club (1999) von David Fincher darzustellen.
Der äußere Kreis bezieht sich auf die Audiospur und illustriert die Betonung, Lautstärke und Wörter des Monologs. Der innere Kreis hingegen veranschaulicht den Inhalt der acht Regeln.
In der kurzen Filmsequenz präsentiert Durden die acht Regeln des Fight Clubs:
1. The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club.
2. The second rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club.
3. Third rule of Fight Club: someone yells stop, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over.
4. Fourth rule: only two guys to a fight.
5. Fifth rule: one fight at a time, fellas.
6. Sixth rule: no shirts, no shoes.
7. Seventh rule: fights will go on as long as they have to.
8. And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first night at Fight Club, you have to fight.
